Simple people need not be deminished

I loved reading the story of Mayada personal tragedy as of all the people mentioned in this particular book. The world is eager to know the truth behind the walls created by evil men. What I did not like were the often used diminishing expressions, by the author, when referring or describing simple people except in the case of Mayada or her family.
